We stumbled upon this restaurant when I breakfast spot we were planning on going was unexpectedly closed and we couldn't have been happier with the find . The food was absolutely delicious. Our lobster roll was packed with flavor and the build your own burritos were a fun and tasty option. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the owner personally introduced himself, which added a nice personal touch. Our server was friendly and attentive, checking on us throughout the meal to make sure we were enjoying everything. The bathroom was spotless, which is always a bonus. It's a great spot to meet up with friends or family. We never felt rushed, and in fact, they even took a picture of us, which felt like a lovely gesture. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

One of the best lobster rolls I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot!). Friendly service too. Will definitely be back!

I would come back to Maine Beer Cafe in a heartbeat. The location is a lot of fun with outdoor seating, jumbo jenga, and corn hole. If you are visiting with friends and aren't a beer drinker they also cater to others with Margarita and Bourbon flights. Not to mention, the food is fantastic for a beer cafe. I ordered the bacon gouda dog which was covered in crisp bacon and mouth watering cheese. I give it a huge thumbs-up for the snap-casing hot dog, rare to find in New England.

My partner and I have been here a couple of times and have enjoyed every visit. They serve high quality pub food, but had a special for “Dave’s Famous Lobster Rolls” for $18 this weekend. Honestly one of the better lobster rolls that we’ve each had on the seacoast in a while, and at a great price. Would highly recommend this place for lunch or a quick bite!

This place has absolutely excellent food for your price. The lobster roll and Club sandwich slap. The drinks are fun, and reflect the laid-back atmosphere that this restaurant has. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a great lunch!

Before heading home, we stopped by The Maine Beer Cafe after our weekend adventures with the family. We would not typically pick a bar atmosphere for our family but the food posted online looked really good and we just had to try it. There were not many people working so even though the service wasn't super fast, we knew the bartender was going as fast as she could. We were in no rush so we were just enjoying relaxing after such a long day. We ordered a variety of food and I have to say it was absolutely amazing and incredible in every way possible. The buffalo chicken wrap was fresh and absolutely hot hot hot. The classic burger was really juicy topped with cheese and tomatoes. Everything was super fresh. We enjoyed chips and cucumbers as sides, which is a nice change-up from the typical eatery. Their main side choice is potato salad. Great selections of sides. As for the atmosphere, the inside is small. Mostly bar patrons filled the bar area. The crowd appeared to be very local and close knit with the staff. It was nice and clean. The bathroom also has a very interesting appeal with many decals that decorate the walls from different beverage companies. I would love to visit again should I find myself in the area.

We planned a day of our trip around going here and it was so worth it. In particular the clam chowder and the turkey sandwich were fantastic. Great service and the best value on delicious lobster rolls.

We just enjoyed 3 amazing lobster rolls at Dave’s! These lobster rolls were loaded with fresh Maine lobster and warm butter! Yum! The rolls were toasted with butter. Absolutely delicious! They even had a gluten free option. Service was outstanding!

I finally visited Dave's Maine Cafe and it was a treat! Cozy interior and the England vs. Argentina game was on so the crowd was fun. The owner and staff were very welcoming and my friends and I found a table to watch the game. We had a dozen each of their Shell Yeah $1.25 oysters, a Double D stuff clam and shrimp cocktail. Excellent and can't wait to go back!

Awesome fresh seafood at great prices. It's not a fancy right on the shore restaurant, but if what you want is fresh lobster rolls and a beer this is the place to go! We decided to go here because they had their prices listed on their website, and it was clear you were getting a good value for your money, and we were not disappointed.
